Orchid & Garden
Pottery for gardens and especially orchids have been an important part of my work since 1997. Because the glazes I work with are both understated and elegant, they provide a wonderful complement to flowers and plants.
The planters shown below are available either with holes and a drip dish, as in the CLIMBING LEAF PLANTER or without, as the other pieces here are shown. You don't need the drip dish unless you are planning to plant directly in the pot or if you are going to be watering a lot of plants at the same time. I make the pots in standard 4", 5", 6" and 7" sizes and your plastic pots of like dimension should fit comfortably within. You may also specify if you prefer a rounder pot (like the SWIRL DESIGN PLANTER shown below) or one with straight sides.
Every February I participate in the Pan Pacific Orchid Exposition in Fort Mason, San Francisco. In addition, I make a selection of pottery planters available at my other shows and at selected galleries, including Meadowlark in Corte Madera, Connextions in Sausalito and Out on a Limb in Fort Bragg.
Garden enthusiasts have also been collecting my pottery ikebana containers. I have a generous selection of designs at all my shows and at most galleries that represent my work. Pottery for gardens and especially orchids have been an important part of my work since 1997.

PLANTER
This planter is also available in the cerulean (bluegreen)
glaze. Please note that the gold is subject to surface
variations, including slight bubbling. Most people don't
mind it but in case you do, better get a different one.
